A robust national strategy for cybersecurity that promotes foundational knowledge in this area is absolutely essential. PakCrypt NPO was founded to cultivate a critical mass of young talent with deep foundational knowledge in cryptography, mathematics, and computer science generally, to underpin trustworthy cybersecurity technologies in Pakistan.

Our History

PakCrypt was initiated to promote research talent in cryptography and mathematics. The inaugural PakCrypt 2022, followed by PakCrypt 2023 and PakCrypt 2024, were resounding successes. But PakCrypt is more than just a competition or research community. It’s a platform that gives young minds opportunities to:

PakCrypt Society

PakCrypt Society’s objectives are grouped under three key themes:

Empower Tomorrow’s Minds: PakCrypt partners with schools, universities, and industry to host workshops and seminars, and it organizes training programs and competitions to help students engage in advanced research in cybersecurity.

Research & Development: The society fosters world-class cybersecurity R&D, builds core competencies, champions sustained funding, and promotes high-quality publications.

Scientific Exchange: We organize annual cybersecurity meetings, conferences, and competitions for members and the wider cryptography community. We facilitate international training and networking opportunities to help members and the wider cyber community advance their knowledge and skills.
